This modern cross stitch bookmark pattern is perfect for modern readers who enjoy fairy tales with a twist. Little story themed motifs paired with watercolour style magic spells give a colourful and striking finish, while classic story book style text makes this the perfect gift for book lovers. The motifs are (top l-r) apple, star, potion, diamond, shield (bottom l-r) castle, key, crown, heart, sword.
THIS IS A KIT LISTING, NOT A FINISHED ITEM.
Uses full stitches, 3/4 stitches (or half stitches) and back stitches. This one might be a bit tricky for beginners.
Your finished bookmark will measure approx 8.57 x 2 inches (120 x 26 stitches)
Kit contains:
full colour and symbol pattern chart, black and white chart, with cross stitch and finishing instructions,
14 count aida band with a white scallop trim,
Pre cut white felt for finishing,
Pre cut and sorted Anchor threads on an organiser in 14 colours. (approx. 30 cm lengths, which may seem short but I find are best eco friendly wise in that it minimises floss tangles and wastage, and also encourage stitchers to take regular breaks, which is recommended for the eyes and wrists)
